Ms. Ruth Irupe Sanabria

Ruth Irupé Sanabria received her MFA in Poetry from NYU. Her first book, The Strange House Testifies won 2nd place for the 2010 International Latino Book Awards (poetry). Her second full-length collection of poems, Beasts Behave in Foreign Land, received the2014 Letras Latinas/Red Hen Poetry Prize.
