SARAH KAIN GUTOWSKI is the author of Fabulous Beast (Texas Review Press) and a chapbook, Fabulous Beast: The Sow (Hyacinth Girl Press). She teaches writing and literature as a Professor of English at Suffolk County Community College, where she has co-chaired the SCCC Creative Writing Festival for over a decade. Her writing has been published most recently in Bear Review, Tahoma Literary Review, and Phantom Drift: A Journal of New Fabulism. Her poetry and criticism has appeared also in past issues of Painted Bride Quarterly, Calyx: A Journal of Art and Literature by Women, So to Speak: A Feminist Journal of Language and Art, Verse Daily, The Gettysburg Review, The Southern Review, Epiphany, and The Threepenny Review.
