is the author of the award-winning book, The Latehomecomer:  A Hmong Family Memoir.  Yang is a Hmong-American writer who graduated from Carleton College and Columbia University's MFA Program in Creative Nonfiction Writing.  She just finished her second work, Still, Fluttering Heart:  The Second Album.  Yang is a sought after teacher and public speaker.  She works from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
