Mary Anna Evans is an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma. Her ten crime novels have received the Benjamin Franklin Award, the Mississippi Author Award, and three Florida Book Awards bronze medals. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Rutgers-Camden and she is a licensed professional engineer. Her work has recently appeared in The Atlantic, Bayou, and Flyway, and she is a former writer-in-residence for The Studios of Key West.
