Evan Lavender-Smith is the author of From Old Notebooks (Dzanc Books) and Avatar (Six Gallery Press). He is a founding editor of Noemi Press, a member of the Creative Writing Studies Organization's Board of Directors, and an assistant professor in the MFA program at Virginia Tech.
