Wendy Taylor Carlisle's fourth book, The Mercy of Traffic, was the 2020 winner of the Phillip H. McMath Poetry Award. Her first book, Reading Berryman to the Dog, was reissued by Belle Point Press, (2022). A chapbook-length selection of her work appears in Wild Muse: Ozarks Nature Poetry, (2023.)
