Rebecca Aronson is the author of three poetry collections, Creature, Creature (2007) and Ghost Child of the Atalanta Bloom (winner of the Orison Books Poetry Prize, April 2017), and Anchor (Orison, 2022). She has poems recently in Pleiades, Plume, Guesthouse, Sugar House Review, SWIMM, and others.  She has been the recipient of a Prairie Schooner Strousse Award, The Loft Literary Center’s Speakeasy Award, and a Tennessee Williams Scholarship to Sewanee.  She holds an MFA from the University of Washington and an MA from University of New Mexico. She lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she teaches writing and coordinates a visiting writers series at Central New Mexico Community College. She also facilitates a student writing group and is co-founder and host of Bad Mouth, a series of word and music.
