Michael Downs

Michael Downs is the author of three books, most recently the novel The Strange and True Tale of Horace Wells, Surgeon, Dentist. His awards include the River Teeth Literary Nonfiction Prize and fellowships from the NEA and the Maryland State Arts Council. He teaches at Towson University.
