Stacy Barton

Stacy Barton is the author of Surviving Nashville: Short Stories, the poetry chapbook, Like Summer Grass and the forthcoming novella, Lily Harp. Her stories and poetry have appeared in a literary journals including Gargoyle, Potomac Review, Real South and Southern Women’s Review; her story “That Exit” was chosen for the “Best of Potomac Review” 50th anniversary issue. In addition to short fiction and poetry, Stacy is the author of several picture books, one-act plays and animated short films. She has developed a Ringling Bros Circus, a children's television show, and many theme park and cruise line shows for Disney and other international production companies. She is also the Director of Maitland Poets & Writers, a non-profit arts organization in Florida.
