A. Rafael Johnson's has been published in Temenos Journal, African American Review, Kweli, Callaloo, and spacecraft projects. His novel The Through was a finalist for the Minnesota Book Award. He currently mentors at The Loft Literary Center and co-owns Inspire to Change, a consulting firm.
