Catherine Wagner has published four books of poetry and various chapbooks. Her latest book is Nervous Device (City Lights, 2012). She has also written on the work of Barbara Guest, Harryette Mullen, Alice Notley and others and on academic labor practices. Her work appears in the Norton Anthology of Postmodern American Poetry, The Arcadia Project, The Sonnets: Rewriting Shakespeare, Poets on Teaching, The Best American Erotic Poems and other anthologies. Some of her performances are available on Pennsound. She is part of the S(W)OP poetry and performance collective in southwest Ohio and professor of English at Miami University in Ohio, where she is vice-president of the AAUP Advocacy Chapter and directs the Creative Writing Program.
