Nicelle Davis is the author of three books of poetry, her most recent book, In the Circus of You . Her first and second collections are Circe Becoming Judas. The Walled Wife is forthcoming from Red Hen Press. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The Beloit Poetry Journal, The New York Quarterly, PANK, SLAB Magazine, and others. She is editor at large of The Los Angeles Review. She has taught poetry at Youth for Positive Change, an organization that promotes success for youth in secondary schools, WITS, and with Volunteers of America in their Homeless Youth Center. She teaches at several schools. Her poetry film collaborations have been featured at many film festivals. She runs the Living Poetry Project at the Bees’ Knees Blog.
