Brian Oliu is originally from New Jersey & currently is an Instructor at the University of Alabama where he is the Director of the Slash Pine Press Internship. He is the author of four books of nonfiction and two chapbooks, ranging from Tuscaloosa Craigslist Missed Connections (So You Know It's Me, PANK Books), to computer viruses (i/o, Civil Coping Mechanisms), to Google Maps (Come See For Yourself, PANK Books), to 8-bit video games (Level End, Origami Zoo Press; Leave Luck to Heaven, Uncanny Valley Press), to the arcade game NBA Jam (Enter Your Initials For Record Keeping, Cobalt Press). His current projects include essays about professional wrestlers, and translating his grandfather's book on long-distance running.
