Dr. Lisa Whalen

Lisa Whalen’s writing has appeared in several journals and edited collections. The memoir, Stable Weight, she worked on with Gail Folkins through AWP's Writer to Writer mentorship was published in 2021. Her research focus is empathy and narratives. She teaches at a community college in Minnesota.
