Deb Vanasse is the author of several books for children and adults, most recently Cold Spell, of the Alaska Literary Series, University of Alaska Press. Formerly on faculty at the University of Alaska Kuskokwim and Fairbanks campuses, Deb is a graduate of the Humanities program at California State University Dominguez Hills and co-founder of the 49 Alaska Writing Center in Anchorage.
