Nona Caspers is the author of four books including The Fifth Woman (Sarabande Books, 2018) and Heavier Than Air, which received the AWP Grace Paley Prize in Short Fiction and was a New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice. Her fiction has been honored with a NEA Fellowship, Cultural Equity Grant, Iowa Review Fiction Award, and Joseph Henry Jackson Literary Grant and Award, among others.  Stories have appeared in Kenyon Review, Glimmer Train, Epoch, Cimarron Review, The Sun.  She co-edited with Joell Hallowell a nonfiction book Lawfully Wedded Wives:  Rethinking Marriage in the 21st Century.  She teaches Creative Writing fiction and cross genres courses at San Francisco State University and lives in the city.  www.nonacaspers.com
