Rebecca Manery is the author of the poetry collection, View from the Hotel de l'Etoile (Finishing Line Press, 2016) and co-editor with Stephanie Vanderslice of Can Creative Writing Really Be Taught?: Resisting Lore in Creative Writing Pedagogy, Tenth Anniversary Edition (Bloomsbury Press, 2017). Her poems have appeared in Rhino, Inertia, The Body Politic, and Bennington Review; she is currently at work on a young adult novel. Dr. Manery's article, "Revisiting the Pedagogy and Theory Corral: Creative Writing Pedagogy Teachers' Conceptions of Pedagogic Identity", was published by New Writing: International Journal for the Practice and Theory of Creative Writing in 2015. She is a former Assistant Professor of English at Ball State University, a founding member of the Creative Writing Studies Organization, and a peer reviewer for New Writing. She currently manages the Hopwood Awards Program at the University of Michigan.
