Heather June Gibbons is the author of the chapbook Flyover (Q Ave Press, 2012), and her poems appear in journals such as Boston ReviewGulf CoastForklift, OhioThe Southeast ReviewThe Cincinnati ReviewIndiana Review, BlackbirdNew Ohio Review, and Drunken Boat.  She received an MFA in Poetry from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and has been the recipient of fellowships and awards from the Vermont Studio Center, the Prague Summer Program, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, and the Academy of American Poets.  She teaches creative writing at San Francisco State University.
