Kij Johnson has won the Hugo, Nebula, World Fantasy, and Sturgeon Awards. She is Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Kansas, where she is also associate director for the Center for the Study of Science Fiction. Her newest book is At the Mouth of the River of Bees: Stories.
