Sonja Livingston’s latest book, LADIES NIGHT AT THE DREAMLAND, is collection of lyric essays inspired by little known or understood historical women. She is also the author of the memoirs, QUEEN OF THE FALL and GHOSTBREAD, which won the AWP Prize for Nonfiction. Sonja's nonfiction has been honored with awards from the Deming Fund, the Iowa Review, Arts & Letters, and the New York State Foundation for the Arts. Recent work appears in many journals, including Blackbird, Brevity, Seneca Review, Creative Nonfiction and The Rumpus. Sonja splits her time between New York State and Virginia, where she teaches in the MFA Program at VCU.
