C. Dale Young is the author of four collections of poetry, the most recent being The Halo (Four Way Books 2016), and a collection of short stories, The Affliction, forthcoming from Four Way Books in 2018.  A recipient of the Grolier Poetry Prize and fellowships from MacDowell, Yaddo, the National Endowment for the Arts, the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation, Young practices medicine full-time and teaches in the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers.  He lives in San Francisco with his spouse, the biologist and classical music composer Jacob Bertrand.
