Erica Mena is a poet, translator and book artist. Her book Featherbone (Ricochet Editions, 2015) won a 2016 Hoffer First Horizon Award, and her translation of the graphic novel The Eternaut by H.G. Oesterheld and Solano Lopez (Fantagraphics, 2015) won a 2016 Eisner Award. Her work has appeared in The Iowa Review, Kenyon Review, PEN America, Vanitas and Words Without Borders, among others. She holds an MFA in literary translation from the University of Iowa, and an MFA in poetry from Brown University. She is Executive Director and Editor of Drunken Boat.
