Emily Maloney is the author of COST OF LIVING (Henry Holt), an essay collection about her suicide attempt, medical debt, and attempts to pay it off by working in the ER and in the pharmaceutical industry. She lives in Evanston, Illinois. Her next book, BURN THIS HOUSE DOWN, is forthcoming in 2025.
