Janet Fox writes award-winning fiction for children of all ages. Her published works include three young adult historical novels, Faithful, Forgiven, and Sirens, all from Penguin Young Readers. Other work includes two books for middle grade readers, the non-fiction Get Organized Without Losing It (Free Spirit Publishing) and two middle grade novels from Viking, The Charmed Children of Rookskill Castle, and The Artifact Hunters. Her debut picture book Volcano Dreams: A Story of Yellowstone came out in 2018 from Web of Life Books, and her next book, middle grade, Carry Me Home, will be out in 2021 from Simon & Schuster.

Janet has taught middle grade and high school literature and language arts, is an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and received her MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
