Bonnie Jo Campbell wrote Once Upon a River and American Salvage, a finalist for the National Book Award and NBCC Award, as well as the novel Q Road and the story collection Women & Other Animals. She’s won the AWP award for short fiction for and the Eudora Welty Prize. She teaches at Pacific University Low Residency MFA program  and is a 2011 Guggenheim Fellow.
