Cathy Barber

Cathy Barber lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. She teaches with California Poets in the Schools (CPitS) in San Mateo County and coordinates CPitS' San Mateo County program. Her poetry and fiction have been published in many journals, including The Kerf, paper wasp, The Sierra Nevada College Review, Ballyhoo Stories, Silt Reader, AIM, Concho River Review, The Dos Passos Review, Pearl, Sweet, The Rio Grande Review and Literary Mama.  Her work has been anthologized in The Cancer Poetry Project, Vol. 2, 2013; Doorknobs and BodyPaint's Fantastic Flash Fiction, 2008; MCoffee's anthology of featured readers, Echoes of the Heart; nth Position's Times New Roman, 2003; An Eye For An Eye Makes the Whole World Blind, which received the 2003 PEN Oakland Josephine Miles National Literary Award, and numerous CPitS annual anthologies.
