Jeffrey Thomson is the author of five books of poems, including his most recent collection, The Belfast Notebooks: Poems and Prose, as well as the memoir, fragile. Half/Life: New and Selected Poems is forthcoming from Alice James Books. He has been Fulbright Distinguished Scholar in Creative Writing at the Seamus Heaney Centre in Northern Ireland and the Hodson Trust-John Carter Brown Fellow at Brown University.  He is a professor of Creative Writing at the University of Maine Farmington.
