Eric Pankey is the author of eleven collections of poems, including The Pear as One Example: New and Selected Poems 1984-2008, Trace, Dismantling the Angel and  Crow-Work. His work has been support by fellowships from the Ingram Merrill Foundation, The National Endowment for the Arts, the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, and the Brown Foundation. He is Professor of English and Heritage Chair in Writing at George Mason University.
