Marie Myung-Ok Lee is the author of the novel The Evening Hero (2022). Fiction has appeared the Kenyon Review, FiveChapters, TriQuarterly, Witness, and Guernica, among others. Nonfiction has appeared in The Atlantic, Salon, Slate, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Nation. She has been a judge for the National Book Awards and the Robert F. Kennedy Book and Journalism Awards. She has been a recipient of the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts fiction fellowship, she has been a Fulbright fellow as well as a fellow at MacDowell, Ucross, VCCA, and the Corporation of Yaddo. She teaches creative writing at Columbia.
