This project paired poet/translators with Uruguayan poets to produce América Invertida: An Anthology of Emerging Uruguayan Poets; Earth, Water and Sky: A Bilingual Anthology of Environmental Poetry; hundreds of poems in magazines; and eight individual collections. This panel not only introduces Uruguayan poetry to a wider audience, but also showcases an approach that can be duplicated with other languages and countries. The panel includes the editor who originated the project, translators, and Uruguayan poets.
