Nancy Naomi Carlson has authored six titles, including Calazaza's Delicious Dereliction (translations of Suzanne Dracius) and Stone Lyre (Char). A recipient of grants from the NEA, Maryland Arts Council, and Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County, she is an associate editor for Tupelo Press.
Alex Cigale's English language poems and his translations from Russian have appeared in Colorado, Kenyon, New England, and the Literary Reviews, Literary Imagination, Modern Poetry in Translation, PEN America, TriQuarterly, and World Literature Today. He is a 2015 NEA Literary Translation Fellow.
Alexis Levitin translates from Portuguese and Spanish. His thirty-eight books include Eugenio de Andrade´s Forbidden Words (Portugal), Astrid Cabral´s Cage, Salgado Maranhao´s Blood of the Sun and Tiger Fur (Brazil), and Ana Minga´s Tobacco Dogs and Santiago Vizcaino´s Destruction in the Afternoon (Ecuador).
Ye Chun / 叶春 is the author of two books of poetry, Lantern Puzzle and Travel Over Water, a novel in Chinese,《海上的桃树, and a book of translations, Ripened Wheat: Selected Poems of Hai Zi. A recipient of an NEA fellowship, she is the poetry editor of the Missouri Review.
Aliki Barnstone is a poet, translator, critic, editor, and artist, whose most recent volumes are Winter, with Child, Bright Body, Dear God Dear, Dr. Heartbreak: New and Selected Poems, and a translation of Cavafy. Her awards include a Fulbright Fellowship in Greece and an Anderson Center residency.
