Room 101 J, Level 1
Friday, April 10, 2015
10:30 am to 11:45 am

PEN American Center and 826 National join together to discuss scaling: specifically, the challenges and benefits of nationwide—and worldwide—reach, and two different models that a nonprofit literary organization can take as it both opens and maintains multiple chapters. 826 was founded in 2002; the PEN American Center has been around for 90 years. Joined by the Mid-Continent Oceanographic Institute, currently in the 826 chapter development process.
