Participants
Susannah Schouweiler is co-director and editor-in-chief of mnartists.org, an online arts platform based at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. She also writes on visual arts, books, and performance for print and online publications around the country.
Halimah Marcus is the editor-in-chief and co-founder of Recommended Reading, a weekly fiction magazine from the innovative digital publisher Electric Literature. Her writing has appeared in Gulf Coast, One Story, Sports Illustrated, and elsewhere. She has an MFA from Brooklyn College.
Dustin Luke Nelson is a founding editor of InDigest, an online lit magazine, and is the marketing director of Le Poisson Rouge. He is also the author of In the Office Hours of the Polar Vortex and the chapbook Abraham Lincoln. His videos, writing, infographics, gifs, etc. appear on the internet.
Jamie Millard is the co-executive director of Pollen. She is also board chair on the Young Nonprofit Professional Network. By night and weekends, she wears a “literary super-hero cape” and co-manages Paper Darts, the Twin Cities’ premier literary arts magazine of which she is a co-founder.
David Doody is the senior editor at Ensia, an independent publication of the Institute on the Environment at the University of Minnesota. Prior to this position he was an editor at Utne Reader, Guernica, and METRO magazine. He is a co-founder of InDigest magazine.
