Jaimie Gusman is a PhD candidate and instructor at the University of Hawai'i, and runs the M.I.A. Art & Literary Series. Her work has been published in literary journals nationally and internationally. She has two chapbooks One Petal Row and The Anyjar.
Tyler McMahon is the author of the novel How the Mistakes Were Made. His short work has appeared in Three Penny Review, Antioch Review, and the Rumpus. He studied at the University of Virginia and Boise State University. He teaches writing at Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu.
Mia Lipman, an editor and book reviewer based in Seattle, is the founding executive editor of Canteen magazine and the host of Lit Fix, a quarterly reading and music series.
Jim Ruland is the author of the short story collection Big Lonesome and co-author with Scott Campbell, Jr. of Giving the Finger. He was awarded an NEA fellowship in 2004. Ruland curates the reading series Vermin on the Mount, now in its ninth year.
Tara Atkinson is the managing director of APRIL, a festival of independent literature in Seattle and the author of Bedtime Stories.
