Topics include the following: how musical considerations influence prose writing; how being a prose writer informs work done as a musician; the use of musicians and musical elements in prose works; and prose elements—characterization, narrative arc, motif—used in music. After initial comments, panelists will read and/or perform a piece of original work. Q&A will follow.
