A selection of contributors will read their contributions from the 2017 anthology Two-Countries. U.S. Daughters and Sons of Immigrant Parents. An Anthology of Flash Memoir, Personal Essays and Poetry. The panel will be introduced by the editor, Tina Schumann. A Q&A session will follow.

Moderator:

Tina Schumann is author of three poetry collections. Her chapbook Requiem. A Patrimony of Fugues won the 2016 Diode Editions Chapbook Competition. She is editor of the anthology Two-Countries: U.S. Daughters & Sons of Immigrant Parents. Her work has appeared widely since 1999.

Chris Wiewiora earned an MFA from Iowa State University's creative writing and environment program. After graduating, he worked a variety of odd jobs in the Midwest. His writing has been anthologized in Best American Sports Writing, Best Food Writing, Make X, and The Norton Reader.

Timothy Liu is the author of ten books of poems, including Don't Go Back to Sleep and Kingdom Come: A Fantasia. He is professor of English at William Paterrson University.

Sahar Mustafah is the author of Code of the West, an award-winning short story collection. She is coeditor of Bird’s Thumb, a journal devoted to new and emerging voices, as well as a proud member of Radius of Arab American Writers.
