Annual meeting of writers who work and teach in art and design environments to discuss pedagogy, programming, administration, and best practices particular to their writing classes and programs.


Amy Lemmon is the author of the poetry collections Fine Motor and Saint Nobody, and coauthor, with Denise Duhamel, of ABBA: The Poems and Enjoy Hot or Iced: Poems in Conversation and a Conversation. She is professor of English at the Fashion Institute of Technology-SUNY in New York City.

Joshua Butts is an assistant professor and department head of writing, literature, and philosophy at the Columbus College of Art and Design. He has published a collection of poetry, New to the Lost Coast, and his work has appeared in various magazines and journals.

Jeanette Luise Eberhardy, PhD, MFA, serves as Program Coordinator for 1st Year Writing and assistant professor at MassArt. Her current book project is Why I Write. Why I Create: Global art students show how they express themselves. She delivers Storyforth seminars around the world. WivInc.com.

Lee Griffith's writing has appeared in Publishers Weekly, The South Carolina Review, Oxford American online, and has been shortlisted for The Best American Essays. Member of the National Book Critics Circle, he is a professor of writing at Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD).

Gwen Oxenham is the author of Under the Lights and In the Dark: Untold Stories of Women's Soccer, as well as Finding the Game: 3 Years, 25 Countries and the Search for Pickup Soccer. She has written for The Atlantic, Slate, and Sports Illustrated. She teaches at Laguna College of Art & Design.
