AWP has stopped accepting 2010 proposals.
AWP received 981 event proposals for our 2011 Conference & Bookfair in Washington, D.C. This is the most proposals we've ever received. Accepted panels will be announced in early August. Thank you to all who submitted. If you do not receive notification by August 20, 2010 please email conference@awpwriter.org.
AWP’s Conference includes more than 300 events and more than 1000 participants, and the proposal process is competitive, so it’s important that all individuals submitting a proposal are familiar with AWP’s guidelines and expectations in order to insure that conference events are successfully executed.
AWP will begin accepting 2011 Conference event proposals on March 1, 2010. The deadline to submit your proposal is May 15, 2010. In this handbook you will find important information on the following items:
