Discount Lodging at Conference Hotels:
We pride ourselves on offering the best hotel rates for our Conference attendees. AWP's Conference hotels typically sell out of rooms months in advance; so reserve your room soon to avoid disappointment. Below is a list of AWP Conference Hotels offering discount lodging to Conference attendees. All reservations must be guaranteed with a refundable one-night deposit (applicable towards your hotel bill) and a major credit card.

Reserve Your Room Online
To book your room online and receive our discount rate today, please visit the special AWP Conference page at each hotel by clicking on the hotel logo or following the "Website Reservations" link. All reservations must be guaranteed with a refundable one-night deposit (applicable towards your hotel bill) and a major credit card.

Reserve Your Room by Telephone
To book your room by telephone and receive our discount rate today, please call one of the hotels listed below, and tell them you're with AWP's conference. All reservations must be guaranteed with a refundable one-night deposit (applicable towards your hotel bill) and a major credit card.

If you do not receive AWP’s discount conference rate please contact AWP Conference Services: conference@awpwriter.org

Three things you should know before reserving your room:

  1. Please do not reserve more rooms than you currently have a confirmed need for. AWP’s discounted rooms sell out quickly, and each year dozens of discounted rooms being held by attendees are cancelled and go unused. Please be considerate of your peers and all other Conference attendees by only reserving rooms for those individuals that are confirmed to attend the Conference.
  2. You will be asked to secure your room with a one-night deposit. This deposit is refundable through November 16, 2008.  After that date, all deposits are non-refundable.
  3. Please be mindful of the deadlines at each hotel to reserve a room at AWP’s rate. After these dates the Conference rate will no longer be available to attendees.
