Join award-winning and critically acclaimed poets Tarfia Faizullah (Registers of Illuminated Villages), Tess Gallagher (Is, Is Not), and Ilya Kaminsky (Deaf Republic) as they read from and discuss their latest books of poetry. In poems touching on themes of disability, immigration, war, and the resilience of spirit, these three authors speak directly to the contemporary moment with distinct and original voices. Introduced and moderated by Graywolf Press executive editor Jeff Shotts.

Jeff Shotts is Executive Editor at Graywolf Press, where he acquires and edits poetry, creative nonfiction, literary criticism, and translation. 

Tarfia Faizullah is the author of Seam and Register of Illuminated Villages. She is the recipient of three Pushcart Prizes, a Fulbright fellowship, and a GLCA award, among other honors. She is a visiting artist-in-residence at The School of the Art Institute in Chicago.

Tess Gallagher is the author of eleven books of poetry, most recently IS, IS NOT, plus three books of fiction and two of essays, also writings about the work of her late husband Raymond Carver. 

Ilya Kaminsky lives in San Diego, CA.
